Hot N Spicy Keto Trail Mix | Flavor On The Go

If you're missing your movie-night favorites like Chex mix, this spicy keto trail mix will be a good substitute for you! Popcorn, in small doses, doesn't kick me out of ketosis. If you're looking for a super clean version, you can omit it (though I think it really helps to add some flavor into this!)

The Mix
 1 cup Yellowbird Habanero Roasted Almonds
 3 ¾ cups Sea Salt Skinny Popcorn
 ¼ cup Roasted Sunflower Seeds
 1 Package Sea Salt Flackers
 1 Bag Cheddar Whisps
The Seasoning
 2 tbsp Melted unsalted butter
 1 tbsp Tajin
 1 tbsp Fresh cracked black pepper
 1 tbsp Flaky Sea Salt
 ½ tsp Garlic powder
 ½ tsp Onion powder
 ½ tsp Chili powder

Prior to making this, you'll need to whip up a batch of Yellowbird Habanero Roasted Almonds. You can find that recipe here:


Add all mix ingredients to a large bowl. Crumble the flackers up so they're in smaller pieces.


Add all seasonings to a ramekin and mix evenly. Top the mix with the melted butter and sprinkle the seasoning over the top. Toss until it's mixed well.


You can portion this down into ziplock bags, or if you're trying avoid single-use plastic, you can try mid-size mason jars. Enjoy your keto trail mix and comment if you try it!
